God’s Plan for You

How are you doing?  It’s an everyday question, with an answer that changes every time someone asks.  Maybe life is better than ever right now.  Or, perhaps things are not going so well for you.  No matter what circumstances are surrounding you right now, there is one thing everyone needs, and that is a relationship with Jesus.  Why?  Because man in and of him/herself is not capable of freeing themselves from fear, anxiety, addictions, relationship problems, etc.  Most importantly, God provides to mankind wisdom and guidance in this lifetime.  Jesus can provide for all of your needs emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.  The best part is, He is alive today waiting for you to call on his name!

The Bible clearly tells us that He never leaves our side once we are dedicated to knowing Him, even when the good times are upon us and the enemy has been put away for awhile. Jesus said “I will never leave you or foresake you.” Has anyone else in your life made that promise and actually kept it? He wants you to know Him more intimately and personally than anyone you’ve ever known.

‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me’. Rev 3:20 9 (NASB)

The Bible tells us in James 4:8 that if we “draw near to God…” He will draw near to us. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 “seek and you will find…”

As you seek God in your heart and mind and look for that place where you sense a change in your heart, in your life—He will then find you, right where you are. And His presence is all everywhere, so all you need to do is ask Him to change your heart and to confess Jesus as Lord over your life.

If you are at the point in your life where you are ready to make a personal commitment to follow Christ, all you have to do is reach out to Him now in prayer. He is listening and waiting to come into your heart and help you live a better life. Will you invite Him in now? If you’d like to pray and receive Christ as your Savior, you can use this simple prayer as a guide:

“Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I confess my sins before You this day. I denounce satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You rose from the dead. I am saved. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of life. Today is my God-day with the Lord Jesus! I pray this prayer to the Father in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

If you just prayed this prayer, please e-mail, mail, or call River of Life to let us know.  We’d like to send you a free Bible and a booklet called “Your New Life in Christ” to help you understand a little more about this new life in Jesus. May God bless you on this very special day!
